The Ste. Genevieve Lady Dragons volleyball team gets enough votes for three standout athletes—Emma Gegg, Joleigh Parker, and Kale Clements—earning All-Conference honors for their exceptional performances this season.
Emma Gegg: A Force on the Court
Emma Gegg dominated as an offensive powerhouse, tallying 225 kills and 34 aces this
season. Her defensive contributions were equally impressive, with 282 digs and a block. Emma’s all-around play and relentless work ethic made her a vital asset to the Lady Dragons’ success.
Joleigh Parker: The Playmaker
As the team’s primary setter, Joleigh Parker orchestrated the offense with precision. She amassed 558 assists, complemented by 86 kills and 32 aces. Defensively, Joleigh added 229 digs and 5 blocks, showcasing her versatility and leadership on the court. Over her career, she has accumulated an impressive 1,408 assists, 262 kills, 65 blocks, and 584 digs, solidifying her reputation as a key playmaker.
Kale Clements: The Complete Package
Leading the team in kills, Kale Clements recorded 245 this season, alongside 40 aces, 373 digs, and 11 assists. Known for her consistency and determination, Kale reflected on achieving one of her primary goals—reaching the district championship. However, she isn’t stopping there. Already gearing up for club volleyball, Kale is determined to continue improving her game.
Kale’s career stats are a testament to her talent and work ethic: 448 kills, 69 blocks, 667 digs, 897 service receptions, 367 service points, 81 aces, and 32 assists. As she explores college opportunities, Kale hopes to extend her athletic career at the collegiate level.
Teamwork and Dedication
The Lady Dragons’ success this year reflects the dedication of not only these three All-Conference honorees but the entire team. Their efforts have set a high bar for future seasons, and their individual accomplishments speak to their commitment to excellence finishing the season with a 22-9-2.
